Release Your Past

We all have pasts.

The most dangerous thing about the past is that it has a habit of engulfing us. We dwell on the mistakes we’ve made, the experiences we’ve endured, and, in some cases, the unhappiness that the past brought. This can lead to us feeding ourselves stories that disempower us. Perhaps this is something you’ve experienced yourself. Some issues from your past cloud your mind and lead to your thinking that you’re less than what you are.

When this happens, it’s extremely difficult to determine your strengths. And the reason is that you are too focused on your perceived weaknesses. When you can only see the negatives from your past experiences, you become blind to the lessons you can take away from those experiences. As a result, you cannot use those lessons to cultivate your strengths.
